Cynthia Spencer Tree of Love Service 2020

Cynthia Spencer Hospice's Virtual Tree of Love Service 2020
In one of our biggest projects yet, Cynthia Spencer Hospice asked us to film, produce and edit together their annual Tree of Love service. 2020 was a diferent year for everyone, including Cynthia Spencer, who had to cancel and change around their various fundraising events throughout the year.
Having created virtual Cycle 4 Cynthia videos previously for Cynthia Spencer, as well as a variety of Facebook frames, Joe Drage Promotions provided digital content production services to create a virtual service.
Normally being held at Northampton Cathedral and being attended by thousands of people across the two nights, the service had to move online. The team over at Cynthia Spencer pulled together a whole host of volunteers, staff, performers, groups and people who were willing to contribute to the Tree of Love Virtual Service in December 2020.
Filming the Tree of Love Service
The filming of Cynthia Spencer Hospice's Tree of Love Service began back in October 2020. The service was due to first be aired on 10th December, meaning that we needed to get everything filmed and edited in time for the hospice's team to approve everything.
Across multiple days Joe Drage Promotions provided filming services inside and outside of the hospice to capture everything that was needed.

How did we edit the service?
Joe Drage Promotions didn't just provide filming services for Cynthia Spencer, but also post-production to put the final service together. This meant pulling together over 23 different sources of video and joining them together to create a service which ended up being over 1 hour long.
Included in this was our graphics design and animation services, where we created branding that would be displayed throughout the service. From the simple name straps, through to the 10 minute credits sequence featuring the hundreds of dedications, we created professional-looking graphics which tied in with Cynthia Spencer's normal Tree of Love Branding.
A Successful Production
We at Joe Drage Promotions were over the moon to have provided our digital content production services for the creation of Cynthia Spencer Hospice's Virtual Tree of Love Service 2020. Watched by over 1000 viewers across both nights, it was an absolute pleasure to read the lovely comments written by those who were touched by the production. We would also like to thank the hundreds of people who donated in the lead-up via dedications, and throughout the service to support the hospice.
